D eforestation is the act of clearing the trees or permanent removal of forests and converting them into a non-forest use land. This degradation of the forests becomes the biggest threat to the lives of 1.6 billion people worldwide whose livelihoods depend on the forests. Moreover, the survival of several different species becomes harder than before. Due to the destruction of forests, the ecosystem is continuously losing its capacity to provide important goods and resources. Even, the ability to absorb the tonnes of Carbon dioxide released from burning fossil fuels has been reduced as well. The forests are also responsible for climate change and help to reduce risk from disasters like coastal flooding etc. After deforestation we human are not stopped due to deforestation and human practise lead to global warming and we can see the result as bushfires in the forest which gradual increase the deforestation rate.
