ONLINE CLASS IN CORONA OUTBREAK!

Online classes what every student want in there life, No tension, No physical present to that place everything sorted, No attendance issue nothing but eventually when it happen everyone got tenses may be some are happy with that but most of them are unhappy.So, Now lets start today topic



WHAT IS ONLINE CLASS-THEORY PERSPECTIVE
An online class is  course conducted over the Internet. they are generally conducted through a learning management system, in which student can view their course syllabus and academic progress, as well as communicate with fellow students and their course instructor.-TOPHAT
This is what I found online in simple word we can say A CLASS HAVING NO STUDENT AND TEACHER PHYSICALLY

 WHAT IS ONLINE CLASS-IN PRACTICAL PERSPECTIVE
When we apply online classes in practical life there are major problem that we faced sometimes when we doesn't make focused on that problem it totally change the online class perspective.in today time it show totally this is  because India institute are not able to adopted this online classes which can lead bad impact on students life.

MY SURVEY
I conduct a small survey in which I put 9 Questions in regards of online classes to know what student fell about online classes and what are the gap between teacher-student,teacher-institute
In that survey approximate 90-100 only that student which recent take part in online classes.In that we have following question:-

  • Internet connection
  • Rate satisfaction 
  • Which type of classes is best?
  • Understand  concept 
  • Teacher support
  • Timing of classes
  • Marking scheme 
  • Response of teacher 
  • What didn’t you like about classes
WHAT INFORMATION SURVEY TELL?
we know that there are two type of information one is what every-person can see and another one is what  everyone has to make effort to find that information so in this section we will focus on what everyone found.
  • Internet Connectivity-When we talking about online, Internet is first that come in our mind. So to when we talking about online classes so internet is the first things that come in our mind so after doing survey I found that 35% student are neutral i.e. 3 rating but after removing neutral student we found that majority of people has many issue in regards of internet so are live in rural area, some are live in that area where 2G is available.
  • Rate satisfaction-As we all know when we take some services from anyone when have a parameter know as "satisfaction parameter". So, now we talk about this parameter in online classes I found that approximate 40% give 2 rating ,22% for 1 rating(worst), 28% for 3 rating(neutral).
  • Which type of classes is best ?-In that point I found that over 92% student like offline classes over online classes.
  • Understand  concept -When we talking about classes first things we have to take care understanding that means whether student are able to grab the concept or not? but in my survey approximate all student rate between 1-2 that means all the efforts that are given by anyone for online classes goes to zero.
  • Timing of classes-when this result came I am shock to see that in online classes student has timing issue over 27% of student rate neutral i.e. 3-rating and 22% rate 2 and 24% rate 1 i.e. worst.
  • Teacher support-This is one of the major point in classes whether teacher is supporting or not ? over 36% student vote of 3 rating, 29% for 4 that show that teachers are giving there full contribution and student also get to know there support.
  • Marking Scheme-As we know that whatever we done in school/college people judge us with our performance(MARKS) depend on what marks you got at the end. If this thing is not transparent  whole life of student get ruined in this case 40% are satisfied with marking scheme and approximate 70% vote between 3-5 rating.
  • Response of teacher-In this survey 31% student vote for rating 4 that means teacher are performing there full effort in online classes.
  • What didn’t you like about classes-
    • Non cooperative behavior of student-38% student are agree
    • Non cooperative behavior of teachers-28% student are agree
    • Online exam strategy-50% student are agree
    • Timing of classes-36% student are agree
    • Sudden information for exam-56% student are agree
    • Unable to grab concept-62% student are agree
    • Shortage of resource like laptop,notes and etc-65% student are agree
WHAT ARE GAP
Online classes, one of the important part in this time for a student life, if we don't take any step today so our world has to face major impact in future as compare to coronavirus. So until  and unless if we didn't get to know that what are the gap how we fulfill that gap. So talking about understanding concept student has suffer a lots I think main problem is due to internet or face to face interaction but we can't  overcome face to face problem, another major cause due to teacher, according to survey it  show that teachers are taking class according to there moods in weekends also and some teacher taking class for 2 weeks together. Which create huge pressure on student and bandwidth due to that student  are not getting the point what tell told in class. As we know that this classes is not organized or pre-planned student suffer due to stationary,exam strategy,sudden information for team that are mention in upper section and most of student doesn't take any online classes in past so they have lots of pressure to  understands  how this online classes are worked

HOW TO OVERCOME
There are many section we have to focused on how we can overcome with that so that we can prevent us from future loss and helps students so that they can take profit from online classes.
  • Firstly, Student will provided proper bandwidth of internet so that they can grab online class fruitfully and gain the aim of online classes.
  • Without proper management nothing will be done, when our management system is not active or we can say if they doesn't work on ground or doesn't know ground condition how they will improve so higher authority has to wake and go to ground level and take feedback without biased nature and student has to fill feedback without any fear.
  • Student has to take care of there bandwidth and proper management has to be there for there bandwidth but major cause of this problem is to faculty, so they have to take classes on proper time so that student can mange there bandwidth according to that.
  • Without any proper notes any guidance student are helpless some student doesn't has laptop how they will grab all the things and they doesn't has proper resource how they are supposed to gave exam and if exam happens and this will be injustice for there entire life and this things happens in many institute.
  • Marking scheme has to more transparent if we take online quiz so, it has chance that all student scored equal Marks because all answer available online so teacher has to bear more pressure and take  that assessment that are transparent like- presentation,viva(video call), project and many more.
It is time to wake up from the sleep and take proper action for future, So that we can fulfill our dream and  both students and faculty has to take there responsibilities.
